Despite the Sadrist sit-in, the framework adheres to Al-Sudani's candidacy and does not think of changing it for this reason

Fadel Mawat, a leader in the State of Law coalition affiliated with the framework, told Shafaq News Agency, "The coordinating framework forces are not thinking of changing their candidate, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, and this matter has not been completely discussed among the leaders of the framework until now."
He believed that "the problem of the Sadrist movement, is not with the personality nominated for prime minister, but rather the problem with the coordination framework as a whole, even if another figure was presented to the movement's rejection," adding that for this reason, the Shiite framework "will not change its candidate for prime minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, and he is still insisting on him." Despite the demonstrations and sit-ins by supporters of the Sadrist movement.
