The Foreign Ministry "praises" itself: We have completed preparations for the "Dialogue of Religions" meeting in Baghdad
Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Thursday, the completion of its preparations to hold the third meeting of the "Dialogue of Religions" next October, while the Undersecretary of the Ministry "praised" her role in the "success" of the meeting.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Safiya Talib Al-Suhail, confirmed in a ministry statement, "All preparations for holding the third meeting of the Interfaith Dialogue have been completed on its scheduled date at the end of next October."
Al-Suhail’s confirmation came, “during a meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building for the Supreme Committee in charge of following up the preparations for the third meeting of the interfaith dialogue between Iraq and the Vatican, with the participation of the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Ambassador Omar Al-Barzanji, and in the presence of representatives of the three religious endowments offices,” according to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Undersecretary praised "the great role played by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordinating between the Religious Endowments Offices, the Pontifical Council for Interfaith Dialogue, the Iraqi Embassy in the Holy See, and the Embassy of the Holy See in Baghdad, in preparing all means that would make the upcoming meeting successful."
The statement continued, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its thanks and appreciation to the Religious Endowments Office, and the Supreme Preparatory Committee with all its members for the tireless effort they made in preparing files, dialogue papers, and all requirements for holding the meeting."
