    Today, Monday, the Ministry of Finance announced the value of compensation paid for car accidents during the first half of the current year 2022.
    The ministry said that “the value of compensation paid for car accident insurance for the period from January 1 to June 30 of this year (2022), amounted to 4,899.550.000 Iraqi dinars,” which means the disbursement of 27 million dinars per day.
    At the same time, Iraq recorded during the first half of the year 3,854 accidents, which means an average of 21 accidents, and on average, about 1.2 million dinars were spent for each accident.
