A member of the New Generation Movement, Diary Anwar, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the popular demonstrations in the Kurdistan region of Iraq will return with a stronger force.
Anwar said that "from the great repression with which the authority in Kurdistan and its ruling parties faced the demonstrations, the demonstrations will only increase us strength and determination to change."
He added, "The conditions of Kurdistan are bad in terms of services and corruption dominates the joints of governance, and soon the demonstrations will return more and more, and we brought our voices to international organizations and the United Nations and wrote reports on the great state of repression."
A few days ago, hundreds of citizens demonstrated in Sulaymaniyah, while the security services carried out a large campaign of arrests, including deputies and activists.
