A statement of the Supreme Judicial Council received by Mawazine News stated that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zeidan, received today the representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Mission in Iraq, Jenin Plasschaert."
The statement added that the two parties discussed "the role of the judiciary in addressing the legal problems related to the political crisis in Iraq." Ended 29/N33
