"Mahran" port announces the volume of Iranian exports to Iraq within 4 months
The semi-official Iranian Mehr news agency quoted Gholami as saying that the financial cost of those exports amounted to $493 million, noting that 20 percent of the Iranian goods and merchandise confiscated to Iraq pass through the "Mehran" border crossing, in addition to 65,000 tons of transit.
According to the Iranian customs official, the "Mahran" port occupies the first place among 12 Iranian border crossings that witness the export of goods and merchandise to Iraq. At the same time, it is expected that the volume of goods exports to Iraq will reach more than 3 million tons at the end of the current Iranian year.
