Today, Saturday, the Federal Ministry of Finance clarified the fact that its resigned minister, Ali Allawi, had left the country after being threatened by one of the political blocs.
In a statement, the ministry denied, "The false information reported by some media and social networking sites, claiming that the resigned Finance Minister Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi left the country, and made statements after being threatened by one of the political blocs."
And she confirmed that she "categorically denies the validity of these alleged news, and everything that was reported in this regard," stressing that "Allawi did not leave Iraq while he was in Baghdad, and he did not make any press statements to any media or personal parties and others."

The ministry called on all media outlets not to "believe these lies and gossip, which can be exploited to achieve well-known political goals, and they come as a miserable attempt to influence public opinion and create a state of confusion and chaos."
