, a member of the administrative body and spokesman for Al-Zawraa Sports Club, Abdul Rahman Rashid, confirmed on Thursday that the administration has completed all matters related to the Asian licensing file that qualifies him to participate in the next season's league.
In a statement to the official news agency, Mawazine News, Rashid said, "Al-Zawraa is one of the first clubs to complete the licensing requirements in accordance with the criteria set by the Asian Football Confederation, in which the Iraqi Football Association operates."
He explained, "The basic criteria for licenses are summed up in five paragraphs: sports, administrative, legal, financial and infrastructure, which are classified into three sections. The first section depends on the application of 36 mandatory points to apply licenses in a local and Asian way, while the second section includes ten points, and in the event of any point missing. It entails a fine, and the third section is optional.”
He added, "Sports standards include an approved program for the development of youth teams, medical care and professionally written youth contracts, while infrastructure standards are represented in stadiums and the nature of matches held on them, such as the Asian Champions League or the Iraqi League, and the important thing is the certificate of origin and its containment of basic facilities such as the first aid room Safety, health facilities, and guiding and guiding boards for people with special needs.
And he continued, "There are standards related to administrative matters, which are concerned with organizing the contracts of the secretary, the financial secretary, the contracts of the media and security coordinator, the medical official, the physiotherapist, the first team coach and the assistant director of the youth development program, while the legal standards are concerned with two necessary paragraphs, which are the creation of a legal regulation for the club and the application of the laws found in The Asian Federation and the Iraqi Federation shall be in the form of documents.
He went on to say, "The most important point in the licensing criteria is the financial criteria, as most clubs face a problem of not having financial dues to players, the technical staff and administrators, and it depends on the presence of the first two paragraphs, setting a full year budget for the past year and working a future information table for the next seven months in a speculative manner.
