    Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Planning confirmed that the job number platform will eliminate the problem of double salaries, and while it identified the reasons for the project’s reluctance, it confirmed that a committee formed by the Council of Ministers is auditing employee data to ensure the accuracy of job number information.
    The ministry's spokesman, Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi, said, "The job number platform represents great importance for what it will add of development value," noting that "the goal of the platform is to build human cadres on professional foundations and considerations, through which the performance process can proceed better in accordance with international standards. ". 
    He added, "The Ministry of Planning embarked on the platform in 2017, by a decision of the Council of Ministers, but the work was not completed due to the lack of infrastructure for state institutions, which would enable it to equip the ministry with data for its employees." 
    He pointed out that "the Minister of Planning, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, formed a committee and developed special mechanisms, and work was resumed by forming a technical committee headed by the head of the Central Bureau of Statistics in accordance with Diwani Order 55," explaining that "the committee coordinated with the Ministries of Finance and Communications, the Financial Supervision Bureau, and the Ministry of Interior to initiate at work.” 
    He pointed out that "the committee began its work in 2021 and continued over the past two years, and more than 3 million job numbers have been entered for various institutions, ministries, and entities not associated with a ministry and governorates," stressing that "the platform will address many of the problems within the functional body." 
    And he indicated that "the last meeting of the Council of Ministers regarding the job number file included a discussion of files, including the first article, which includes the formation of a committee headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning for Administrative Affairs and the membership of the Ministry of Finance and Interior and the Office of Financial Supervision, provided that the committees boycott the private data of state employees to ensure the accuracy of the data, as well as On obligating state employees who do not have a unified national card to obtain this card. 
    Al-Hindawi stressed, "The database can be interrupted with employee data to ensure the accuracy of the employee's biometric information," noting that "there will be a link to the payment of salaries via the job number platform." 
    He added, "The platform notifies the Ministry of Finance to release salaries to employees, and thus institutions bear the accuracy of the information they send to this platform in order to be accurate in the process of disbursing salaries and releasing salaries to employees," noting that "the platform will address the problems of duplication of salaries."
