The current and leading MP in the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Muthanna Amin, said, on Monday, that the differences between the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement are "deep and do not benefit from initiatives that do not satisfy the minimum demands of the two parties."
In an interview with "Al-Sabah" newspaper, Amin added, "The demands of the Sadrist movement are not constitutionally possible, as is their demand to dissolve parliament through the judiciary or the political initiative of the parties."
He pointed to "the futility of the Kurds or the Kurdish forces presenting an initiative that the two parties do not agree to," calling on the leadership of the Sadrist movement to "advance an initiative by himself. He also presented the wonderful step that protected Iraq from sliding into a civil war when Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr absolved of acts of violence." Ended 29/N33
