Qadoon Party: Forming the framework for the government will bring the country to a stage worse than the existing one

Head of the Coming for Change party, Hussein Al-Ramahi, confirmed that the coordination framework's move towards forming a government will bring the country to a worse stage than the one in existence.
Al-Ramahi told Rudaw Media Network on Saturday (September 3, 2022) that "we settled these events, even before we entered the political work, and one of the main points that called us to go to form a comprehensive national party that is independent from all the parties that went through the experience and away from foreign agendas is Our extrapolation is that the country will reach what it has now reached, as the scene is not new and came within the repercussions and failure.”
Al-Ramahi believes that "the failure of the independents' project is part of the failure of the existing political project, the largest part that is now borne by the independents."
The head of the Independent Party pointed out that "the contacts that were made towards us and the pressures, many demanded and were ready to pay a large amount to one independent representative, as figures amounting to 3-4 billion Iraqi dinars, houses and cars."
He talked about the differences between the project and between a single deputy, saying: “You are an independent deputy, but your rise as a single person. You cannot resist in front of the large parties that have 70 seats. You cannot stand in front of projects that have been in place for years, because they have money and weapons.”
Regarding his party’s project, Al-Ramahi pointed out that “the coming project came down from the far north to the far south, in the stages of change, and it must be comprehensive and national in number that corresponds to these large blocs,” calling for “we should not be surprised when the independent is facing threats and temptations, and it is new at work.” Political,” stressing that “the absence of the project and the curriculum led to the failure of the independents, as is the case.”
And I believe that "the absence of the project, the curriculum, and the constants of the major parties led them to what they have reached now. The absence of the project is the main point behind their political work."
The current stage requires "a brave voice and a free and fair patriotic stand," according to Al-Ramahi, who added that "all the red lines that the Iraqi people expected and that exist on political action, I believe they have crossed."
Regarding solutions, Al-Ramahi believes that “we have no choice now. We are at a crossroads. Either we are with the people or part of the problem, and if we are with the people, we must embark on a brave national initiative in which we diagnose the problems, weaknesses, and basic issues that led the large parties to rage, and we put forward A brave initiative represented by the formation of a true independent government in word and deed.”
According to the head of the Coming for Change party, “The Sadrist movement demands change, its title is reform, but it lacks a lot. First of all, the Iraqi people and the silent majority say: Yes, your project is reform and you have the highest degree of self-denial. You withdrew from Parliament, but we also do not have confidence. Reform needs principles, foundations and a vision.” And a platform, and if we empower you, what will be your economic vision and political platform, then you were a partner in the political process.”
“The framework is part of the political failure, and your going towards forming a government is bringing the country to a stage worse than the current one,” according to Al-Ramahi.
The initiative of the Coming for Change party to all national forces is summed up in “supporting a free national initiative by holding a comprehensive national conference that brings together all political parties and sit at the table for dialogue and discussion regarding the next stage and the mechanism for change,” according to Al-Ramahi, who added that “change must be within the law and the constitution and in the absence of law.” And the constitution will lead to chaos.”
The Iraqi people faced “a great shock of awareness, as the political blocs during the past days crossed all the red lines,” referring to the events of the Green Zone, according to Al-Ramahi, who pointed out that “the parties have proven that in one hour we can burn the capital, and in one hour we can return the situation to the situation.” As it is".
Regarding the October 2021 elections, Al-Ramahi said that “these elections that took place were unfair and bore many question marks, (the percentage of voters, their number, the electoral system, its implementation mechanism, the Board of Commissioners, as the emerging parties demanding change did not have representation in it.”)
The elections that took place did not represent the Iraqi people, “25% of the participants, I cannot say that they represent the opinion of the Iraqi people,” according to Al-Ramahi, who stressed that “all signs of integrity were far from the elections,” believing that “in the coming stages, we will advance future elections that will be Different in terms of law, question marks and problems.”
Head of the Qadoon Party, Hussein Al-Ramahi, confirmed that “all the tools directed towards change were fighting,” adding, “One day before the elections, I and 32 people from one party were excluded,” noting that “financial influence and agendas control the parties, and the Board of Commissioners did not It was a neutral council.”
He asked: "Why do you exclude the Secretary-General of the largest party in Iraq within 24 hours, where were you during this period? This is an indication that the Board of Commissioners was not impartial, but rather politicized with other directions," noting that "if there was impartiality, professionalism and non-targeting of independents, the results would have been radically different from what it is now.”
Regarding a solution to the electoral system, Al-Ramahi explained that “the only solution to the Iraqi political crisis is the double election, which is to form an alliance in all of Iraq led by Muqtada al-Sadr with the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Alliance of Sovereignty if it was announced before the elections, for example.”
“The double election is a longitudinal, totalitarian, national alliance accompanied by the announcement of a government with its president and ministers, with a program for the next stage, and thus we will achieve the main demand for change for the Iraqi people,” according to Al-Ramahi.
Regarding the details of this system, he said that “the people must elect a government and parliament at the same time,” adding that “the people are now demanding a presidential or semi-presidential system, so the people will elect a government, not parties, and therefore there will be a high participation rate.”
He pointed out that "the malicious invitations exist towards the candidate, as they exist in all electoral districts, but how can we motivate the Iraqi people to go out to the elections," referring to the pressures that are being exerted.
Al-Ramahi gave an example of the double election, saying: “If you elect 165 candidates from those who are coming, then this will be your government, and therefore the people will elect their government, and this is the best solution for the political process.”
He declared his party's support for "every national vote towards change," saying that "the change has not occurred, so the country cannot be lifted from its reality," adding that "the change must be within the law and the constitution and with its clear title."
Al-Ramahi believes that "Al-Sadr's withdrawal could be a political maneuver to push for a comprehensive conference."
Al-Ramahi distanced the Qadoon Party from “being part of parties that have failed in their political programmes. We are going towards a project. If the prime minister has a project, we will go with him, and we will not be a stick in the wheel of the government.”
The coordinating framework “If he possesses the self-denial that al-Sadr possesses, we also demand that he reach this level and sit with him at one table to extricate the country,” according to Al-Ramahi.
