Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Education announced that it has submitted a number of proposals to the Council of Ministers regarding the file of printing school curricula.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry, Adel Al-Busaisi, said, "The lack of a budget and the political situation in the country affected the completion of the file of printing the school curricula," noting that "the ministry has great attempts and efforts to print the curricula. These attempts may bear fruit next week by allocating funds By the Council of Ministers to print 50 or 60 percent of the curricula.
He added, "The ministry circulated an official letter to all its directorates to retrieve the books available to students to achieve a good percentage to cover the students' needs during the current year."
He pointed out that "the ministry submitted more than one proposal to the Council of Ministers regarding the selection of printing presses and printing books through the Minister of Education, who is working hard to make this file a success and provide financial allocations for it," stressing that "these proposals met with a response from Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and members of the Council of Ministers."
He continued, "One of the proposals submitted by the Ministry to the Council of Ministers will see the light within the next week," stressing that "all proposals are in the interest of the file of printing the school curricula."
