The deputy of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Al-Shammari, confirmed, on Wednesday, that the coordination framework has about 180 deputies in order to pass his candidate, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, to head the government, indicating that the meeting with Al-Sudani came to present his government program.
Al-Shammari said in a televised interview, "The meeting with Al-Sudani came to present his government program, and the audience represented all political blocs."
He added that "Al-Sudani touched on three main issues: services, water, and the economy, and the meeting was legislative, and he did not talk about the political crisis at all."
He pointed out that "Al-Sudani's initiative to attend parliament did not occur in previous sessions," noting that the framework is coherent despite attempts to dismantle it, and he did not completely close the doors of dialogue with the current despite his possession of more than 180 deputies, but he adheres to consensus with everyone.
