    [size=45]Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced the implementation of a major strategic project in the capital, Erbil.[/size]
    [size=45]The ministry said in a statement that "a heavy water treatment project will be implemented in Erbil, in three phases, at a cost of $300 million, and the water generated from the project will be allocated to water the green spaces in the city."[/size]
    [size=45]The cost of the project is about 300 million dollars, and it is financed by a loan from the Japanese government.[/size]
    [size=45]In the same context, the Director General of Water and Sewage in the Ministry, Engineer Ari Ahmed, said: “The project will be implemented in 3 phases, and currently funds have been provided to start the first phase, which amounts to 75 km, and in the second phase, 400 km of heavy water will be treated.” .[/size]
