    [size=45]Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Interior stressed that it is not allowed to exceed the periods of stay in Iraq for tourists entering the country, and while it confirmed that it imposes fines and compulsory deportation on violators, it revealed tight plans to reduce these cases.[/size]
    [size=45]The Director of the Deportation and Deportation Department in the Ministry, the Jurist Colonel Muhannad Shahid Khattar , said: "The Ministry of Interior has prepared a court action plan represented by the Directorate of Residency Affairs, and in cooperation with the Baghdad Operations Command, to reduce the phenomenon of abuse of the legal period of residence, which is set at 30 days for those who enter Iraqi territory."[/size]
    [size=45]He added that "the ministry imposes a late fine on foreign tourists who violate the residency law," calling on them not to exceed the legal periods authorized for them.[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that “in the event that the tourists exceed the legal periods allowed, their deportation will be mandatory, given that they are in violation of the foreigners’ residency law in 2017,” noting that “the Directorate of Residency Affairs in Baghdad and the provinces has continuous rounds to follow up on the file of violators, and there are tight controls to seize them. and deporting them to their countries.[/size]
