The Federal Ministry of Planning confirmed that the so-called space employees were not found in state departments, while confirming that work is still underway for the intersection of information in this regard.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning, Maher Hammad, said that the ministry did not find fake or what the Iraqis call aliens who receive salaries without work in the first place, or fake names for which others receive salaries, pointing out that the intersection and checking of employee information contributed to the detection of employees who left work, but they did not. They are still receiving salaries, others are receiving social protection salaries allocated to people with limited income, and employees on permanent staff who work as a contract with other departments.
He added, that the actual numbers of these people may be in the tens of thousands, and work is still underway to conduct an intersection of information, and others may be revealed.
