, the Federal Integrity Commission reported, on Monday, that it had carried out seizures of cases of fraud and violations worth 3 billion dinars in the Salah al-Din Governorate Office and the Health Department in the governorate.
And the Commission's Investigation Department stated, "The work team of the Salah al-Din Investigation Office, which moved to the governorate's office, was able, after conducting investigations and audits, to detect violations in the contract for the supply of containers to the municipality directorate in the governorate at a cost of (1,736,707,000) billion dinars," noting that "a billion dinars were seized." The origin of the contract, its priorities, and the exchange transaction in the contracts and accounts sections of the governorate office.
The department added, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the contract indicated that the processing took place in 2020, although the containers were prepared during 2018 and 2019 for the project requirements of the Tikrit Municipality Directorate, which were rejected by the head of the project implementation committee, for violating specifications."
And she explained, "The team revealed, in two separate operations, which it carried out in the Salah al-Din Health Department, that the fuel exchange committee in the department provided forged receipts allegedly issued from stations that do not exist on the ground," continuing that "the value of the amounts disbursed under those receipts belong to The exchange committees formed during the second half of 2018, and the first half of 2019, amounted to (1,200,984,500) billion dinars.
