Al-Khanjar is consulting with al-Sadr to join the "Coalition of State Administration" and an agreement on a close meeting between the "trio"
The sources told Shafaq News Agency, "The contact initially discussed the joining of the Sovereignty Alliance to the (State Administration Coalition), which is hoped to be formed soon and to know Al-Sadr's opinion on this step," noting that "Al-Khanjar confirmed to Al-Sadr that the accession of Sovereignty does not mean that he stands with the framework against the current, He stressed the continuation of coordinating positions with al-Sadr.
She added, "Al-Khanjar informed al-Sadr that the sovereignty of the (Coalition of State Administration), if it is final, will work during his presence in this coalition to achieve the demands raised by the Sadrist movement, foremost of which is the dissolution of the House of Representatives and the holding of early elections."
The sources explained that "Al-Sadr and Al-Khanjar agreed to hold a meeting soon, without specifying a date, that would bring together the leader of the Sadrist movement with the leader of the Sovereignty Alliance and a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to strengthen communication and coordination between the three parties."
In this context, the Iraqi politician and former MP Mishaan al-Jubouri said, in a tweet, that "a "state administration coalition" will be announced this evening, which includes determination, sovereignty, democracy, the Kurdistan Union, Babylon and the forces of the framework."
Al-Jubouri explained that "the political agreement included commitment to the legislation of amnesty and oil laws, the expulsion of non-local forces from the liberated cities, the handling of the file of the missing, and early elections within a year and a half."
