Baghdad - Mawazine News
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed, on Monday, that the current government has endured a lot of fabrication and forgery, under the false accusations.
Al-Kazemi said in the special celebration marking the 60th anniversary of the struggle for freedom and democracy, and the 5th anniversary of the departure of President Jalal Talabani, followed by / Mawazine News / We renew the call for an inclusive national dialogue for all Iraqis to put forward together our concerns and discuss our differences.
Below is the text of the speech:
On this day, the dear President Jalal Talabani departed for the supreme companion. We came here today, to remember this great patriotic figure, the outstanding fighting spirit, and the lofty stature.
We remember him today, and we are in dire need of his patience, wisdom, and ability to contain crises, bring divergent viewpoints closer, and restore lost trust between the brothers of the one nation that made many sacrifices and precious blood in the various stages of the struggle for democracy, and for the homeland and its freedom.
Mam Jalal is not far from these sacrifices, as we remember him today, and we live in a time when values and morals have vanished in the world of politics, and the language of accusation and treason has prevailed over the language of calm and dialogue to reach a solution.
As for me personally, I remember Mam Jalal, in all stages of my life, from the patriotic opposition against the dictatorial regime, to the press and human rights activism, all the way to assuming responsibility, and he, may God have mercy on him, was concerned all the way about the human being, his dignity, his rights and the essence of justice.
Today, in the midst of all this political blockage, the absence of a figure of the weight of Mam Jalal has an impact and meaning. The late would have pushed all political leaders to the dialogue table, for a calm and sane discussion, through which he restores confidence lost with narrow interests and immediate gains prevailing over the general national interest. .
The courage of dialogue, the principle of goodwill, quiet diplomacy, and avoiding rigidity in situations were the tools of "Mam Jalal" and the road map that he - may God have mercy on him - put in place to resolve crises.
We are inspired by the determination and will of the great late, and the values he left among us, the motives for reaching solutions that are consistent with our national values, and with our convictions of the necessity of building a state of institutions, and which prioritizes the citizen’s interest over any individual or factional interest.
From this point of view, we stress the need to return to the table of a national dialogue that includes all Iraqis, to put forward together our concerns, discuss our differences, and develop solutions based on commonalities.
Iraq, the people of Iraq and the interests of the Iraqis are the goals that must be before us all, and the goal that everyone must present to the national dialogue table.
The national agreement on the basis of the deep Iraqi commonalities, and the national values rooted in our country is neither difficult nor impossible.
The Iraqis were able to reintroduce themselves to the world in a manner worthy of them and their history, and today they can formulate a solution that preserves the future of their country and the future of their children.
Let us adhere to dialogue, dialogue and dialogue... and nothing else. It is our only way to solve the crisis. Otherwise, the fire will burn everyone, God forbid.. Real courage is in preserving the interests of Iraqis, their security and social peace, and that we think together about the future of our future generations.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Everyone is aware that there is a high level of positive brotherly relations that brought together the Federal Government in Baghdad with the Kurdistan Regional Government during the past two years, and it is no secret that this came after various stages of turmoil and tensions that prevailed in this relationship.
Reaching this distinguished level of relations was not by chance, but was a product of the principle of dialogue, the presentation of goodwill and a calm, non-passive policy, and we must build on what has been achieved so far in strengthening the participants and resolving crises in the spirit of brotherhood and a common destiny.
This government has endured a lot of difficult and exceptional circumstances, fabrication and forgery, and false accusations, to gain a profit here or there, and this is contrary to all values.
We do what our national, moral and humanitarian duty dictates, for the sake of our great Iraq, which was the cradle of human civilization.
This government was intended to be involved in bloodshed and to be silent about suspicious deals and described thefts, until a party here or there is satisfied with it.. This government was wanted by some as a bridge to cross a certain stage, without real change, yes, I say that frankly, and for history... There are those who wanted For this government to suppress the voices demanding the minimum rights, and to be a tool in their hands, but they failed, so they only put obstacles in front of the government for the purpose of thwarting it by all means.
Nevertheless, we endured, and learned from the experiences of statures, such as the stature of "Mam Jalal", to be patient for the higher interest, to work honestly and faithfully, and not to turn to maliciousness, shouting and stabbing.
We will work until the last moment, tirelessly, and we will call for dialogue, use the mechanisms of dialogue, and we will preserve the blood and dignity of our people no matter what the cost is, and no matter how much we are attacked, just because we consider Iraqi blood sacred, and its shedding is a red line.
Iraq is a trust in our hands, and we must render this trust to its people. Ended 29/R77
