    [size=45]The Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, confirmed that Iraq will present an emergency item during the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to demand a cessation of attacks on its sovereignty from any party.[/size]
    [size=45]The Speaker of the House of Representatives said during the session held by Parliament today, Saturday (October 8, 2022), during which he discussed the recent Iranian bombing of the Kurdistan Region, that Iraq “will present an emergency item during the meetings of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to demand a cessation of attacks on its sovereignty from any side, and the interventions in its internal affairs,” stressing that “the House of Representatives will seek to obtain international solidarity in this regard.”[/size]
    [size=45]For his part, the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, said that “the committees formed regarding the repeated attacks and abuses by neighboring countries (Iran and Turkey), continued their work, and held meetings and meetings with the relevant ministries and the competent authorities, and prepared reports and recommendations, which will be Presenting it to the House of Representatives in the coming sessions.[/size]
