The Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee announced, on Sunday, that it had decided to host the Minister of Transport, Nasser Al-Shibli, to study the most important measures taken in the work and plans of the ministry.
A statement of the committee, of which Mawazine News received a copy, stated that it met under the chairmanship of Representative Zahra Al-Bajari, head of the committee, and in the presence of its members, where it "discussed the draft information crimes law, and made observations and recommendations on the aforementioned law, stressing the necessity and importance of completing the stages of its legislation and proceeding with its presentation for first reading on the agenda." Parliament in its upcoming sessions.
And the statement continued, "The committee discussed the transport file, starting with the ports represented by Al-Faw port, Baghdad metro, railways and public transport."
The statement indicated, "Based on the confirmation of the representatives of the members of the Transport and Communications Committee to follow up on the work of the transport and communications sectors, I decided to host the Minister of Transport to study the most important measures taken regarding the work and plans of the Ministry, and to identify obstacles and develop appropriate solutions to them, as well as the committee's decision to host the Media and Communications Authority."
