    On Thursday, the financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, confirmed that the talk about the lack of salaries for workers in the public sector for the coming year is subject to jurisprudence.
    Saleh said in an interview with Shafaq News Agency, "Talking about the lack of salaries for employees for the next year is an unresolved controversy and has many jurisprudence and interpretations, but the higher national interest requires spending 1/12 in the event that the budget for the next year is not approved as well," noting that "No It can stop the movement of the Iraqi state on legal interpretations."
    He added that "the exchange process, if it requires a legal interpretation, the Federal Supreme Court will intervene," noting that "it is difficult to stop the work of the state."
    Saleh also indicated that, “It is assumed and natural that there will be a budget every year, but there is no context for the state to remain for a number of years without a budget, which is a new thing that the state has witnessed, yet we consider what happened as part of force majeure and this can be To have use and exceptions with the support of the Federal Court responsible for the stability of laws and behavior and many things.
    He stressed that "talking about that is undecided jurisprudence, but the state's supreme national interest requires continuation."
    A number of experts had indicated that the current caretaker government will not be able to pay the salaries of employees, since it does not have a legislative cover that allows it to spend public expenditures during the year 2023.
