    The rate of Turkish exports to Iraq continues to cross the one billion dollar barrier per month, which indicates the possibility of Turkey achieving nearly 13 billion dollars in exporting goods and commodities to Iraq this year, a jump that may be 15% greater compared to last year.
    Economic data revealed that Turkey achieved more than $22 billion in exports last September. According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Council, “Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Iraq and Russia topped the list of countries importing the most from Turkey, during last September.”
    Iraq came third, with imports worth one billion and 8 million. Last September, the growth of Turkish exports to Germany amounted to 5.8 percent, and to Iraq 18.6 percent, while the growth rate of exports to Russia amounted to 105.5 percent, to the United Kingdom 7.9 percent, and to the United States 9.3 percent.
    On the other hand, grains and oilseeds topped the list of Iraq's imports from Turkey, while chemicals constituted the largest proportion of Turkish exports to Russia.
    Last August, Iraq came third in Turkish exports to the world, with a value of 1 billion and 258 million dollars.
    Previous data had revealed that Turkish exports during the 8 months from January to August 2022, that Iraq came third, with a value of 8 billion and 609 million dollars.
    Accordingly, the rate of Turkish exports to Iraq per month amounted to 1.07 billion dollars, which means during 5 months it amounted to 5.38 billion dollars, while Iran’s exports during the past 5 months to Iraq amounted to 2 billion and 961 million dollars, the Iranian export rate per month amounted to 592 million dollars per month, meaning that during a whole year, Iran's exports to Iraq are not expected to reach more than 7 billion dollars, a decrease of 27% compared to last year.
     
    Accordingly, Turkey's exports to Iraq exceed Iran's exports to Iraq by 80%. While Iran exports to Iraq monthly during the current year at a rate of 592 million dollars, Turkey exports to Iraq monthly during the current year with a value of 1.07 billion dollars.
     
    According to an export rate of $1.07 billion per month of Turkish goods to Iraq, it is expected that the current year will end with Turkey exporting $12.8 billion, which is 15% greater than what Iraq imported from Turkey during 2021. The value of what Iraq imported from Turkey Over the past year 11.1 billion dollars.
