The Chairman of the Integrity Commission Alaa Al-Saadi and the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, discussed, today, Thursday, strengthening joint cooperation to combat corruption in the next stage.
Al-Mandalawi said, during his visit to the Integrity Commission and his meeting with its head, Alaa Al-Saadi, in a statement received by the National News Center: “The next stage will be difficult, and we, as Parliament, will wage a war with the Integrity Commission and the rest of the control institutions against the mafias of corruption and major spoilers.”
"It will be an unprecedented war, no less important than the fierce war against terrorism," he stressed.

For his part, the head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge (Alaa Jawad Al-Saadi) stressed the "importance of concerted efforts to make anti-corruption efforts successful," noting "the parliament's support for the oversight bodies in their response to corruption and the preservation of money."
Al-Saadi called for “closer joint cooperation to combat corruption for the next stage between the regulatory agencies and the three authorities, especially the legislative authority, and to bring about a legislative revolution by completing the proposed bills, including the amendment of the Commission’s law, as well as paying attention to issues of public opinion, and dealing firmly with money abusers.” “.
