The statement added, "The book of the Finance Committee also emphasized the basic mission of the Bureau in light of its law in force, and the Bureau's answer to the book of the Finance Committee and its proposal was presented to the entity that assigned the Bureau, which is the Office of the Prime Minister," noting that "the Bureau supported the proposal contained in the Finance Committee's book to confirm adherence to applicable law.
He pointed out that "the Minister of Finance issued a directive to the General Tax Authority under the book No. (3198) on the fourth of November 2021, which included (it is attributed to the failure of the General Tax Authority to disburse the refund of tax deposits to the taxpayers before obtaining the approval of the Minister, and presenting them to him after completing the fundamental procedures). all".
Yesterday, Wednesday, the Parliamentary Integrity Committee announced that it will prepare a detailed report dealing with the theft of two and a half billion dollars from the amounts of tax trusts in the Rafidain Bank.
