, the former Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim, responded to those he described as "crying and complaining" about the rise in energy prices, considering that the price of a barrel of oil should now be more than 250 dollars.
Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim said in a series of tweets on his Twitter account: "Some people shout and complain about the rise in energy prices, and they blame this and that. Our producing countries have many compelling arguments that they can respond with to those who accuse them."
He added: "Those who are screaming forget the huge taxes they impose on energy derivatives in their countries and do not even talk about reducing or completely lifting them for their citizens."
Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim stated that they are forgetting the calamities and economic problems that have befallen the producing countries due to the collapse of energy prices.

For example, the price of an ounce of gold was $250, and today it is nearly $2000, meaning the price has doubled 8 times. Do they criticize the producing countries? For gold or silver, for example?!”
