[size=45]Yesterday, Sunday, the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee decided to host the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Taif Sami, and Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamid Al-Bayati, head of the Supreme Committee for the return of their rescinded contracts, tomorrow, Tuesday.[/size]
[size=45]And the Media Department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by (Al-Mada), that “the Security and Defense Committee held its meeting No. (14) on Sunday and discussed the delay in the Supreme Committee to return their rescinded contracts and the financial procedures that resulted in the delay in completing the procedures for returning them to service.” The statement added, "The committee decided to allocate a meeting next Tuesday, corresponding to 10/25/2022 at 12:00 noon, for the attendance of the Deputy Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, and Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamid Al-Bayati, head of the Supreme Committee for the return of their rescinded contracts, and the heads of committees in the ministries, security services, and the Popular Mobilization Authority." [size=45]The head of the committee, Khaled Al-Obeidi, said, "The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee hosted the Higher Committee for their rescinded contracts, and everything related to their rescinded contracts and the criteria used to return them was discussed."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Obaidi added, "All ministries and security services have completed the lists of officers and affiliates whose contracts have been terminated, and they are awaiting the release of allocations from the Ministry of Finance."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out, "The Ministry of Defense has launched a website to communicate with those whose contracts have been revoked and submit their papers, and the examination and interview will be re-conducted and the criteria set by the ministry will be approved."[/size]
[size=45]Al-Obaidi pointed out, "Some of whose contracts have been terminated are of great age and have service and will be retired, and some of them will benefit from their experiences in various units."[/size]
[size=45]He added that "there are more than 102 thousand of those whose contracts have been terminated from various security agencies, distributed as 37 thousand for the defense, 29 thousand for the interior, 30 thousand for the Popular Mobilization, and the rest for the intelligence and national security agencies," noting that "not all of these are covered by the return because some of them are employed Others died or were ill.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Obaidi stressed, "The budget and allocations for all of their contracts rescinded are included in the Emergency Support Law for Food Security, and is awaiting its release from the Ministry of Finance."[/size]
