    On Sunday, the Iranian Customs Administration revealed that its exports with the countries bordering the Gulf during the first six months of the current fiscal year amounted to nearly $14 billion.
    In a report published by the Iranian "Tasnim" agency, the Customs Administration stated that Iran traded 23.68 million tons of goods worth $13.96 billion with Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, during the period from March 21 to September 22, registering a decrease of 16.76% and 0.54% in terms of weight and value compared to the same period last year, respectively.
    The UAE was Iran's first trading partner among the mentioned countries, with its exports amounting to 10.92 million tons worth $10.31 billion, registering an annual growth in weight and value of 84.5% and 8.06%, respectively.
    Iraq came second with 9.93 million tons, down 33.33%, with a value of $3.47 billion, down 19.98%, and Kuwait third with 2.35 million tons, an increase of 93.27%, with a value of $87.03 million, an increase of 21.17%.
    Iran's exports to the six countries amounted to 18.41 million tons worth $6.64 billion during the mentioned period, registering a decrease in weight by 14.44%, but a growth in value by 6.72% on an annual basis.
    The main export destination was Iraq with 9.86 million tons, down 28.95%, with a value of $3.38 billion, down 11.92%, followed by the UAE with 5.72 million tons, down 1.6 percent, with a value of $3.11 billion, an increase of 38.72%, and Kuwait with 2.35 million. tons, an increase of 93.72%, at a value of $81.95 million, an increase of 26.4%.
    Imports amounted to 5.27 million tons, at a value of $7.32 billion, recording a decrease of 23.95% and 6.33% in weight and value compared to the same period of the previous year, respectively.
    The UAE topped the list of exporters to Iran among the Gulf states with 5.2 million tons, down 12.11%, at $7.2 billion, down 1.35%, followed by Iraq with 65,454 tons, down 93.51%, with a value of $90.05 million, down 81.96%, and Qatar with 3.023 tons, an increase of 96.48 %, with a value of $20.5 million, an increase of 248.1%.
    Iran traded 60.87 million tons of goods worth $31.9 billion with the countries bordering the Gulf in the 2021-2022 fiscal year, up from $22.36 billion the previous year.
    Total exports amounted to 45.43 million tons, worth 14.15 billion dollars, while imports stabilized at 15.43 million tons, valued at 17.76 billion dollars.
