Shafaq News/ The decision of the Iraqi Parliament revealed today, Thursday, the reason for postponing the session of granting confidence in the "expected" government of Muhammad Al-Sudani for a few hours by the presidency of the Council.
Gharib Askar told Shafaq News Agency, "Dialogues and negotiations are continuing until the moment between the Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, and the political blocs and parties to finally resolve the candidates for ministerial portfolios," stressing that "until this moment, there is no resolution for some of the candidates and there is a process of change being carried out by the Sudanese."
And the Parliament’s decision stated, “The reason for postponing the session of granting confidence to the expected government for a few hours is to give more space to the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and the political blocs and parties to resolve the issue of ministerial portfolios,” noting that “there is a political agreement to grant confidence today to the Sudanese government and there is no retreat from This decision".
Today, Thursday, the Iraqi parliament decided to postpone the session of granting confidence to the new federal government headed by the commissioner, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, until six o’clock in the evening instead of two in the afternoon.
The Iraqi Council of Representatives is scheduled to hold a special session today, Thursday, to vote on the cabinet for the coordination framework candidate for the presidency of the Council of Ministers, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, after a difficult labor that has lasted for more than a year since the announcement of the results of the early elections in October 2021.
