    The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, directed the Ministry of Finance to send the draft federal general budget law for the Republic of Iraq, for the fiscal year 2023, to the Ministerial Council for Economy as soon as possible for study.
    A statement by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers received by the National News Center stated that "the draft law will then be sent" to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers; To include it on the agenda of the Council of Ministers, in order to expedite its legislation, because of its importance.”
    He pointed out that "the directive came during the cabinet meeting in its first regular session, held on 10/28/2022."
