Shafaq News/ The "independent" deputy in the Iraqi parliament, Basem Khashan, accused, on Wednesday, the Federal Integrity Commission of being involved in the trillion "theft of the century" from tax secretariats that ignited public opinion recently and sparked widespread controversy in its merits.
Khashan said, in his Facebook post, that "Bashir, the employee of the Integrity Commission, who conducted the investigation on the trusts exchange instruments, the commission granted him a leave of four years, and he left for Turkey, and his wife also took leave and left Iraq."
He added: "My information indicates that he (Bashir) sold the house he owned, and he will not return to Iraq."
Khashan continued: "In light of this flight from Iraq, the book of the Director-General of the Investigation Department, Karim Badr Al-Ghazi, who addressed the General Authority for Taxes and released its hand, raises a thousand question marks and astonishment."
