Today, Wednesday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani stressed the importance of signing the law under various circumstances, stressing that the independence of the judiciary is a cornerstone for achieving any reform.
A statement by the Prime Minister's Office received by the National News Center stated that "the Prime Minister received the President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Muhammad Aboud, and the President of the Court congratulated the Sudanese on the occasion of assuming his duties, and praised the government's commitment to the legal frameworks and decisions of the Federal Supreme Court."
Al-Sudani stressed during the meeting, according to the statement, the importance of signing the word of law under various circumstances, and stressed that the independence of the judiciary is a cornerstone for achieving any reform.
For his part, the President of the Federal Court stressed the support for the democratic system and the supremacy of the constitution and its ruling reference for political action, as it is the main guarantor of the implementation of the will of the Iraqi people.
