    [size=45]Member of the Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee, MP Ali Shaddad, participated in the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), which was launched in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi on Monday and will last for four days.[/size]
    [size=45]Shaddad said that the (ADIPEC) conference and exhibition is one of the largest events related to the petroleum sector in the world, and is organized by the UAE Ministry of Energy and in partnership with the largest international companies specialized in the field of energy.[/size]
    [size=45]Shaddad pointed out that the aim of holding this conference is to discuss global challenges that affect oil and gas markets and their implications for prices, including political challenges and international conflicts and their impact on energy supplies in the world.[/size]
    [size=45]Shaddad pointed out that this conference is an appropriate opportunity to review the latest developments related to the energy file, especially in light of the political and security changes that the world is witnessing.[/size]
    [size=45]He added, "The stability of the security and political situation in Iraq after the formation of the Iraqi government paved the way for attracting international companies wishing to invest in the field of energy and to establish partnership relations with the Iraqi side, especially with regard to the implementation of giant projects in the fields of oil and gas."[/size]
    [size=45]Iraq was represented at the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) by a high-level parliamentary delegation headed by the Chairman of the Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee, Representative Yahya al-Ithawi, and a member of the Committee, Representative Ali Shaddad, and other members.  [/size]
