And the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement, "President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Saturday, former Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, who congratulated His Excellency on the occasion of assuming the position of President of the Republic, wishing him success in performing his duties."
The statement added, "The President of the Republic expressed his thanks to Abdul-Mahdi for his congratulations and wishes, stressing that Iraq needs everyone to make efforts and unify them on the path of construction and provision of services to all the people." Ended 29/N33
