On Saturday, Minister of Planning Muhammad Ali Tamim directed the formation of a higher committee to implement the paragraphs of the ministry's government program.
A statement by the ministry stated, "The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, and in implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, directed the concerned departments of the ministry, on official working hours on Saturday, for the purpose of completing the procedures related to the inclusion of projects of the emergency support law for food security and development for Baghdad and other governorates."
The statement added, "Tamim held several deliberative meetings with the advanced cadre in the ministry, and directed the speedy achievement, in coordination with the concerned cadres in the governorate of Baghdad and the concerned governorates."
And he continued, "The Minister of Planning directed the formation of a higher committee in the ministry under his direct supervision, and the presidency of the technical agent, and it includes in its membership the administrative agent, heads of agencies and formations, and general managers in the ministry, which will implement the paragraphs in the government program as far as the Ministry of Planning is concerned," directing "the committee" completion of its work within seven working days.
