Shafaq News/ The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called on Saturday for the involvement of the Anti-Terrorism Agency in confronting the networks of oil, drug and corruption smuggling.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, Al-Mandalawi's media office said that the latter received at his residence in Baghdad, the head of the Anti-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Wahhab Al-Saadi, to discuss the status of the device and the possibilities available to it, and to review the specific operations that it implements to eliminate the leaders and members of terrorist gangs and pay danger to the country.
Al-Mandalawi praised the great victories achieved by the Counter-Terrorism Service and the security forces over terrorist groups and their sleeper cells, and their reflection on the stability of the security situation in the country.
