The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed today, Thursday, the position of the general budget for the year 2023 regarding the creation of job grades, and the fate of contract employees.
Committee member Mustafa Al-Karaawi said in an exclusive interview with Mawazine News, "The issue of creating job grades within the 2023 budget is not clear so far, because this matter is controlled by the government and does not concern the House of Representatives or the Parliamentary Finance Committee."
And Al-Karaawi, "Parliament would discuss the file of creating job grades if it is included in the budget, if the economic feasibility is achieved," stressing that there is a possibility for the committee and parliament to raise the issue of creation, provided that it is qualitative and achieves economic feasibility and in real need..
He pointed out that " The decision to confirm the contracts is actually present, "noting that with regard to contracts after the month of 10 of 2019, the matter has not yet been resolved and it is under discussion." Ended 29/M 99
