, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani announced, on Saturday, the initiation of the establishment of the Supreme Committee for Coordination between the Council of Ministers, federations and trade unions.
Al-Sudani’s office stated, in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that “the Prime Minister met a number of captains, presidents, and representatives of professional and sectoral federations and unions, and listened to a presentation from the attendees on all aspects of the reality of trade union professional work, and the problems and obstacles facing this vital sector.” its various aspects.
Al-Sudani affirmed in his speech, initiating the meeting, that he is "determined to establish the Supreme Committee for coordination between the Council of Ministers and the federations and trade unions established in accordance with the law, with what they represent as houses of expertise in various specializations."
And he indicated that "the heads of federations and syndicates will serve as advisors to the government in implementing its ministerial platform and vision in various fields, foremost of which are the service sectors."
For their part, the heads of federations and unions expressed their support for the policies of the new government, stressing that "the Sudanese meeting with them on the first days of his government is evidence of the serious intention to find a partnership relationship between them and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers."
