    The head of the Strategic Center for Human Rights, Fadel Al-Gharawi, confirmed that Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani will face the two most important challenges during the next stage, which are food security and climate.
    Al-Gharawi said in a statement that "about 27 percent of the population of the Arab region (116 million people) suffer from food insecurity. Undernutrition affects 10 percent of the population."
    He added, "According to United Nations reports for the year 2021, Iraq witnessed its second driest season in 40 years due to a record drop in precipitation, which led to a decrease in water flows from the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, which provide up to 98% of surface water in Iraq."     Al-Gharawi continued,
    Al-Gharawi called on the government to "take urgent measures to address the problems of food security and climate by starting to cultivate the desert with innovative crops and adopting artificial rain, a rotating river and water stores to treat drought, and announcing investment in the fields of agriculture and improving the climate in order to achieve food security and eliminate desertification and drought."
