On Friday, Minister of Communications Hiyam Al-Yasiri confirmed the establishment of a national joint stock company that would adopt the fourth mobile phone license.
Al-Yasiri said, in an interview with the official news agency, that "the ministry started a few days ago to work on what was included in the government program, and we are continuing to implement it by forming a national shareholding company that adopts the fourth license and improving other communication services."
Yesterday, Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, confirmed that he assigned the concerned authorities and the Ministry of Communications to prepare a study for the launch of the fourth license, stressing that "once it is completed, the appropriate decision will be taken in this regard."
