, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani confirmed, on Saturday, that the government is focusing on the file of unemployment and youth employment.
Al-Sudani's office stated in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa met with a group of activists, representatives of civil society organizations, and a number of talented children, as part of his visit to Diwaniyah Governorate, today, Saturday."
And Al-Sudani indicated, according to the statement, that “Diwaniyah governorate deserves to be offered a lot in order to change its service reality,” stressing that “the government, in light of its ministerial approach, focuses on the file of unemployment and youth employment, and it is in the process of launching an initiative to embrace youth, and change the wrong paths that controlled in the previous stages.
And on developing job performance and improving the provision of required services, the Prime Minister affirmed that "the government will adopt clear mechanisms to evaluate officials in several respects, at the level of management, integrity and ability to perform duties."
Al-Sudani referred to "the efforts of civil society organizations in social development and state support, and the importance of partnership between government institutions and civil society organizations in addressing many societal phenomena and problems," calling for "coordination of joint efforts for the citizen and community service."
