Today, Sunday, the Federal Integrity Authority reported that two recruitment orders had been issued against the Director General of the Authority for Management and Investment of Funds of a former Endowment Office. For "intentionally committing a violation of the duties of his position."
The Commission’s Investigation Department confirmed, “The Second Karkh Investigation Court issued two summons orders to the Director General of the Authority for Management and Investment of Funds of a former Endowment Bureau, in the two cases of violations attributed to the Board of Management and Investment of Endowment Funds regarding a real estate in Diyala, as well as another property in Baghdad. It has an area of (9) acres.
The department added, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the second Karkh Investigation Court decided to bring the accused and (8) other defendants to the Endowment Diwan, based on the provisions of Article (331) of the Penal Code."
On the 19th of last August, the Integrity Commission announced the issuance of an arrest and search warrant against the head of one of the endowment offices, and each of the assistant director general of the Authority for Management and Investment of Endowment Funds. Against the backdrop of buying a hotel in the Kurdistan region for an amount of (47,000,000,000) billion dinars, "without any economic feasibility."
