The Kurdistan Regional Government responds to Iranian newspaper accusations of arms smuggling
Shafaq News/ On Saturday, the Kurdistan Regional Government issued a clarification regarding accusations of Iranian newspapers of arms smuggling.
The spokesman for the regional government, Jutiar Adel, said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency; "Some Iranian newspapers are currently dealing with statements attributed to John Bolton, who currently has no position in the United States, stating that weapons are being smuggled into Iran through the Kurdistan Region."
He added, "The regional government rejects all of these accusations, which have been repeated more than once."
And Adel stressed that "the Kurdistan government has not and will not allow its lands to pose a threat to the security of neighboring countries.
