The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities confirmed today, Monday, that it attaches great importance to the issue of energy and heat emissions.
The Ministry's media center said in a statement, a copy of which Mawazine News received, that "the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities hosted the first meeting of the welcoming committee, regarding the implementation of (the project to promote carbon reduction by increasing energy efficiency in buildings) implemented by the United Nations Development Program." For her part, the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Iraq confirmed, "The United Nations Development Program has taken upon itself to issue a special strategy for a period of 5 years to reduce energy emissions, which ends in the year 2027, and it is important for all ministries that need to reduce greenhouse emissions." .
