The report, sent to the office of the Prime Minister, the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, the Ministers of Health and Commerce, and the Captains of Physicians and Pharmacists, included the need to “create inspection units from the Ministry of Health at the border crossings; to ensure the safety of medicines and their storage conditions, and to enhance control and control of loopholes and informal methods that smugglers may adopt,” calling for “the external audit department in the Integrity Commission to study the large discrepancy between the total amounts of medicines and supplies that were recorded in the calculator of the General Authority of Customs during the year 2021 The amount is (4416636789) dollars, and the total amounts for which import licenses were issued by the Ministry of Commerce amounted to (162940839) dollars during the same period; To find out the real reasons for the discrepancy.
