, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani affirmed today, Wednesday, his government's intention to establish real partnerships with Kuwait.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "Al-Sudani headed the Iraqi side during a discussion session held in Kuwait, while the Kuwaiti side was headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah."
Al-Sudani indicated, "This visit has indications that express the privacy that Kuwait enjoys with Iraq, and reflects the historical depth in the relations between the two neighboring countries and the desire to consolidate them at various levels and fields."
He stressed, "his government's tendency to establish real partnerships with the Kuwaiti government, which clearly reflects the interests of the Iraqi and Kuwaiti peoples."
For his part, the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait expressed "full readiness for broad cooperation with Iraq, in a way that serves common interests, and sustaining partnership in various aspects of economy, investment and trade."
