    Today, Friday, the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, decided to form a committee headed by and with the membership of a number of responsible officers in the Ministry of Defense, in order to follow up on the conditions of the fighters and meet their basic needs.

    A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office stated, "According to the issued decision, the committee will begin its duties in checking the fighters' livelihoods, by making surprise visits at various times and getting to know their working conditions closely," pointing out that "the formed committee will monitor the numbers of protections for officers from The rank of lieutenant colonel or above, and its conformity with the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces during his meeting with the Joint Operations Command, in addition to monitoring negative phenomena that harm the reputation of the armed forces and offensive elements during and outside duty, and in all formations, operations commands, and headquarters with their various names.

    The statement confirmed that "the committee began its work starting today, Friday, and was authorized to access all military and security sites and units affiliated to the Ministry of Defense, the Anti-Terrorism Service, and the Command of the Special Division, and it must submit weekly reports on its activities to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces," noting that " The committee's link will be with the secretary of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, in terms of submitting reports and following them up with the relevant authorities.
