Today, Monday, the National Security Agency announced the seizure of oil hideouts in Baghdad and the provinces.
A statement of the agency stated, “The device’s detachments, in coordination with the relevant authorities, have begun the process of seizing one of the smuggling dens, which operates under the cover of an unauthorized industrial factory that refines smuggled black oil, an integrated oxidized asphalt plant and large quantities of oil products, as well as a number of smuggled tanks.” ".
"The national security detachments were able to arrest the person responsible for the site," he added.
He continued, "The national security detachments were also able to seize 5 vehicles and two tanks containing (106) thousand liters of oil derivatives intended for smuggling in the governorates of Nineveh, Basra, Salah al-Din, and Diwaniyah," noting that "the seizures were referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary measures."
