The President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid, received the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to attend the Arab-Chinese summit that will be held next month and aims to strengthen Arab-Chinese relations.
This came during his reception at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Iraq, Abdul Aziz Al-Shammari.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations that bind Iraq and Saudi Arabia, where the President of the Republic stressed the need to develop them and expand the horizons of constructive cooperation and positive partnership in a manner that guarantees the supreme interests of the two brotherly peoples.
The President of the Republic also entrusted the Saudi ambassador with his greetings to the Saudi monarch, stressing his interest in making every effort to strengthen brotherly relations and the bonds of historical friendship between Iraq and the Kingdom.
