The Parliamentary Finance Committee expected today, Monday, the approval of the financial budget for the year 2023, next March.
A member of the committee, Representative Mueen Al-Kazemi, said in an interview with the official news agency, which was followed by Mawazine News, that "the budget will reach the parliament from the government at the beginning of next year."
He added, "Parliament will go through the stage of sifting, discussion, and political influences, and will proceed with the first and second reading, and there will be opinions and disagreements in this regard until a political consensus is reached on the shares of the provinces, the Kurdistan region, and the deprived provinces in the center and south, and the provinces affected by terrorism."
